Here's to the longest night of the year. Hello to the winter solstice. There are a million traditions around the world that symbolize the mark of the winter and the shortest day of the year. I'd like to share what this day means for me, and a few practices you can do over the next few days/weeks to harness this powerful energy.

Has it been a whole year? Maybe more? Who really knows (I mean, yes I realize all I have to do is check the last post, but here we are). Between life and work and a huge move across the country, I realized that the things that matter to me got lost. This is what happens when you get caught up in the day to day, and forget to take the moments in time to do things that feel really really good to you. So, let's rewind a bit.
Okay! This is really exciting. Y'all know that I love cooking and being in the kitchen. I love creating fun new things and being in the kitchen. There really is no better joy for me. Being able to feed my family and bring smiles to their faces through food is really like no other.
AND. It's also fun to get creative in the kitchen using other recipes too. I love surfing Pinterest and google for inspiration and see what's new and fun out there. So, I thought I would start sharing some recipes that I've loved, used, and tested in my own kitchen, plus my own thoughts on the recipe--what worked, what didn't, etc. I'm so excited to be sharing these with you. I hope that you find the inspiration to try something new in your own kitchens! |
