Ayurvedic Consultation | 90 minutes In this initial consultation, you will be guided through a series of in-depth questions of your personal health history. We dig deep into the root of what is going on. Question & answer is followed by a brief physical examination involving listening to your pulse, tongue, nail, skin, and facial examinations. Afterwards, we will come up with a protocol that suits you, and one that is realistic. Therapies may include making adjustments to your diet and lifestyle, various exercise routines, and/or herbs.
AyurYoga Consultation | 90 minutes The AyurYoga consultation is similar to that of an Ayurvedic consultation. In an AyurYoga consultation, we will focus on remedying your chief concerns with various yoga, meditation, and breath work techniques. These 3 will be the primary therapies, supplemented by other herbs, diet, and lifestyle adjustments as needed.
Follow Up Consultation | 30-45 minutes Follow ups are advised on a need-basis. During this session, we will look at the progress that has been made, and any other new concerns that may have arisen. Your protocol may be adjusted as needed as well depending on the progress of your concerns. Follow ups can be scheduled for both the Ayurvedic and the AyurYoga consultation.
Private Yoga Sessions | If you would like to schedule private yoga sessions or small group yoga sessions, please call or email for more information.
Marma Therapy | 45-75 minutes Marma therapy is an Ayurvedic therapy similar to acupressure. Again, depending on concerns you may have, this therapy focuses on certain points on the body that will allow for proper flow of energy to alleviate any stagnation or blockages. Applying gentle pressure on points along the body, this therapy is meant to relax and heal at the same time.
Basti | 30-45 minutes Basti is another Ayurvedic therapy that involves applying medicated oils to localized areas to allow for penetration of the benefits of the oil. Some examples would be a kati basti where we build a small barrier using flour on your lower back, and fill it with medicated oils to create a sort of pool. Then, as you relax, the medicinal properties of the oil will penetrate into your muscles to allow for healing in that area.
