Yoga, like Ayurveda, is a science that dates back to ancient Vedic culture. Originating in India, yoga has expanded in the West, and has become a popular practice many incorporate into their daily lives. Yoga is the sister science of Ayurveda, where it is used as a therapeutic tool. 

Ayuryoga®, a blend of Ayurveda and Yoga created by Vasant Lad, BAM&S, MASc brings these two sciences together in perfect union. Looking at various pranayama (breathwork), asanas, and meditation techniques, Ayuryoga® creates an individualized protocol utilizing all 3 (pranayama, asanas, and meditation) to help bring your body back into balance. Ayuryoga® looks at the energetic effects of each pranayama, asana, and meditation and relate them back to Vata, Pitta, and Kapha (see more on the doshas here) to create a holistic approach to what you are looking for. 


The goal of Ayuryoga® is to bring holistic healing to the mind, body, and spirit. Not only can Ayuryoga® be used therapeutically, it can be used as a daily practice to start or end your day on a high note.
