Enjoy this healthy pesto on your pasta, as a base sauce for pizza, in your summer salads, and so much more!
- 2 bags arugula
- 5 cloves garlic
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Be sure the arugula is washed and cleaned
- Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until it is nice and smooth
- If you would like the consistency to be thinner, try adding a little water into the mix
This is a quick and easy pesto to make if you have arugula lying around that you don't want to toss away because the leaves are getting yellow. It's also a great way to get those nutrients in and sneak in healthy veggies into your family meals.
