Is anyone else gawking at the fact that it's already mid-July? I am a little bummed that we've cancelled our normal summer vacations and travel. It's something I definitely look forward to each year. By now, you should know that I'm a total summer kid.

But the beauty of Ayurveda teaches us to flow with the river. We can't control what happens, only our reaction. So, I can be upset that things aren't happening, or I can bask in what IS happening.

And there is definitely a lot happening! Of the many things I'm grateful for, a few which are spending more time outside in the breeze (despite the crazy heat of the desert), being able to cook a crazy ton more than I usually do, and being able to connect back with my daily practices.

I hope this season brings you re-connection to what makes you feel good, what makes you feel whole, and what brings you closer to your true self. The journey never ends, but we can't stop despite any obstacles or shortcomings. I hope you find the courage and strength to keep moving, all while finding space for loving yourself and everything that you are. After all, we are beautiful things made of simple star dust.

Empties. I definitely go through my fair share of natural beauty products. Would you guys be interested in an "empties video"? I'm definitely a little nervous to film myself, but if it means it's helping my lovely friends (that's you!) out, I'm happy to do so. There are also a million people doing this, SO, y'all just let me know in the comments below!
Clevr Coffee. In an effort to ditch traditional caffeine, I'm trying out a few different morning beverages to get my day going. I've started with this guy. Clevr Coffee SuperLatte. So far, I'll say that my desire for a cup of coffee in the AM has decreased significantly. If you're looking for a tasty (and healthier) way to cut back on your caffeine habit, I recommend trying this one out!
This one is just fun. We bought an ice cream maker! It's been so great trying out our hand at ice cream making. It's not perfect all the time, but the process has been great. Plus, I feel a little better about knowing exactly what is going in my indulgent treats! This was definitely a "COVID Splurge", but well worth it!
I hope you all find a little something that brings joy to your life today. Until next time. :)
