It's a harder task right now. How do I find comfort in times of natural distress and commotion? I mean, quite literally the US is panicking. Case in point, I bought a 12 pack of Mac and Cheese just in case. The bigger question is what the heck is happening?
Hi! I bring you this post from the middle of my vacation in Florida! Let’s start here: where has the summer gone?! I am basically in shock that it is almost August. This time of year tends to be the busiest for myself and my family. Between vacations and work, it feels as though I’m barely at home. Unfortunately, it leaves me feeling the most vulnerable to outside forces. It’s harder to maintain consistency in your routine, and taking care of yourself feels impossible.
I wanted to share a few “on the road necessities” that I live by. I’ve broken it down into a few different parts and categories. The best part of about them? They can be used all year long as travel hacks.

I just got back from a great trip to the East coast for a family wedding. As much as I love traveling (just ask my husband!), it's always really nice to be back home. This time however was a SUPER fast trip inclusive of not enough sleep as I'm used to. The big question I always ask myself is--how do I bounce back from the exhaustion that can set in after a trip no matter how long or short the trip was.
